महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-78, verse-1

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
श्रुत्वा तु नृपतिर्वीरं पितरं बभ्रुवाहनः ।
निर्ययौ विनयेनार्यो ब्राह्मणार्घ्यपुरःसरः ॥१॥
1. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
śrutvā tu nṛpatirvīraṁ pitaraṁ babhruvāhanaḥ ,
niryayau vinayenāryo brāhmaṇārghyapuraḥsaraḥ.
1. vaiśaṃpāyanaḥ uvāca śrutvā tu nṛpatiḥ vīram pitaram
babhruvāhanaḥ niryayau vinayena āryaḥ brāhmaṇa arghya puraḥ saraḥ
1. Vaiśampāyana said: Babhruvāhana, the noble king, having heard of his heroic father, went out respectfully, preceded by Brahmins carrying offerings.
