महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-91, verse-7

निमिस्तु कृत्वा शौचानि विधिदृष्टेन कर्मणा ।
संतापमगमत्तीव्रं पुत्रशोकपरायणः ॥७॥
7. nimistu kṛtvā śaucāni vidhidṛṣṭena karmaṇā ,
saṁtāpamagamattīvraṁ putraśokaparāyaṇaḥ.
7. nimiḥ tu kṛtvā śaucāni vidhidṛṣṭena karmaṇā
saṃtāpam agamat tīvram putraśokaparāyaṇaḥ
7. tu nimiḥ vidhidṛṣṭena karmaṇā śaucāni kṛtvā
putraśokaparāyaṇaḥ tīvram saṃtāpam agamat
7. But Nimi, having performed the purifications with rites (karma) prescribed by sacred law, experienced intense sorrow, being fully immersed in grief for his son.
