गवां मध्ये शुचिर्भूत्वा गोमतीं मनसा जपेत् ।
पूताभिरद्भिराचम्य शुचिर्भवति निर्मलः ॥४०॥

pūtābhiradbhirācamya śucirbhavati nirmalaḥ.

40. Becoming pure while in the midst of cows, one should mentally recite the Gomatī mantra. By performing the ritual sipping of water with purified waters, one becomes pure and spotless.
