महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-80, verse-20

रक्तोत्पलवनैश्चैव मणिदण्डैर्हिरण्मयैः ।
तरुणादित्यसंकाशैर्भान्ति तत्र जलाशयाः ॥२०॥
20. raktotpalavanaiścaiva maṇidaṇḍairhiraṇmayaiḥ ,
taruṇādityasaṁkāśairbhānti tatra jalāśayāḥ.
20. raktotpalavanaiḥ ca eva maṇidaṇḍaiḥ hiraṇmayaiḥ
taruṇādityasaṃkāśaiḥ bhānti tatra jalāśayāḥ
20. There, the reservoirs shine, adorned with groves of red lotuses whose stems are jeweled and golden, and which gleam like the rising sun.
