महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-54, verse-39

एष मेऽनुग्रहो विप्र जीविते च प्रयोजनम् ।
एतद्राज्यफलं चैव तपश्चैतत्परं मम ॥३९॥
39. eṣa me'nugraho vipra jīvite ca prayojanam ,
etadrājyaphalaṁ caiva tapaścaitatparaṁ mama.

39. O Brahmin, this is my blessing and the very purpose of my life. This is also the fruit of my sovereignty, and this is my supreme asceticism (tapas).
