महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-54, verse-37

कुशिक उवाच ।
अग्निमध्यगतेनेदं भगवन्संनिधौ मया ।
वर्तितं भृगुशार्दूल यन्न दग्धोऽस्मि तद्बहु ॥३७॥
37. kuśika uvāca ,
agnimadhyagatenedaṁ bhagavansaṁnidhau mayā ,
vartitaṁ bhṛguśārdūla yanna dagdho'smi tadbahu.
37. kuśika uvāca agnimadhyagatena idam bhagavan saṃnidhau
mayā vartitam bhṛguśārdūla yat na dagdhaḥ asmi tat bahu
37. Kuśika said: O venerable one, O tiger among the Bhṛgus, the fact that I, having entered the midst of the fire, conducted this action in your presence and was not burned, is truly a great matter.
