महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-54, verse-14

गीतध्वनिं सुमधुरं तथैवाध्ययनध्वनिम् ।
हंसान्सुमधुरांश्चापि तत्र शुश्राव पार्थिवः ॥१४॥
14. gītadhvaniṁ sumadhuraṁ tathaivādhyayanadhvanim ,
haṁsānsumadhurāṁścāpi tatra śuśrāva pārthivaḥ.
14. gītadhvanim sumadhuram tathā eva adhyayanadhvanim
| haṃsān sumadhurān ca api tatra śuśrāva pārthivaḥ
14. pārthivaḥ tatra sumadhuram gītadhvanim tathā eva adhyayanadhvanim ca api sumadhurān haṃsān śuśrāva.
14. There, the king (pārthiva) heard very sweet sounds of singing, and similarly, the sound of Vedic study, and also very sweet-voiced swans.
