महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-54, verse-20

ततोऽन्यस्मिन्वनोद्देशे पुनरेव ददर्श तम् ।
कौश्यां बृस्यां समासीनं जपमानं महाव्रतम् ।
एवं योगबलाद्विप्रो मोहयामास पार्थिवम् ॥२०॥
20. tato'nyasminvanoddeśe punareva dadarśa tam ,
kauśyāṁ bṛsyāṁ samāsīnaṁ japamānaṁ mahāvratam ,
evaṁ yogabalādvipro mohayāmāsa pārthivam.

20. Then, in another part of the forest, he saw him again: seated on a cushion made of kusha grass, chanting (mantras), a great ascetic observing strict vows. Thus, the Brahmin (vipra), by the power of his spiritual discipline (yogabala), deluded the king (pārthiva).
