एतत्फलमसूयाया अभिमानस्य चाभिभो ।
तस्माद्बुध्यस्व मान्धातर्मा त्वा जह्यात्प्रतापिनी ॥२३॥

23. O venerable lord, this is the fruit of envy and pride. Therefore, O Mandhata, understand this: let glorious prosperity not abandon you.
