This principle (of oneness and multiplicity) is also an illustration for the unmanifest controller. One who knows the true nature understands the oneness and multiplicity of material nature (prakṛti) in accordance with its principles. Its oneness occurs in dissolution, and its multiplicity arises from its activity.
