महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-38, verse-33

तं दष्टं पन्नगेन्द्रेण करिष्येऽहमपज्वरम् ।
तत्र मेऽर्थश्च धर्मश्च भवितेति विचिन्तयन् ॥३३॥
33. taṁ daṣṭaṁ pannagendreṇa kariṣye'hamapajvaram ,
tatra me'rthaśca dharmaśca bhaviteti vicintayan.
33. tam daṣṭam pannagendreṇa kariṣye aham apajvaram
tatra me arthaḥ ca dharmaḥ ca bhavitā iti vicintayan
33. Pondering thus, 'I will make that one, bitten by the king of serpents, free from fever (or poison). In this endeavor, both wealth and spiritual merit will accrue to me.'
