महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-38, verse-10

तस्माच्चरेथाः सततं क्षमाशीलो जितेन्द्रियः ।
क्षमया प्राप्स्यसे लोकान्ब्रह्मणः समनन्तरान् ॥१०॥
10. tasmāccarethāḥ satataṁ kṣamāśīlo jitendriyaḥ ,
kṣamayā prāpsyase lokānbrahmaṇaḥ samanantarān.
10. tasmāt carethāḥ satatam kṣamāśīlaḥ jitendriyaḥ
kṣamayā prāpsyase lokān brahmaṇaḥ samanantarān
10. Therefore, you should constantly be patient and self-controlled. Through this patience, you will attain the worlds that are immediately adjacent to Brahma.
