महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-126, verse-19

कर्ण उवाच ।
रङ्गोऽयं सर्वसामान्यः किमत्र तव फल्गुन ।
वीर्यश्रेष्ठाश्च राजन्या बलं धर्मोऽनुवर्तते ॥१९॥
19. karṇa uvāca ,
raṅgo'yaṁ sarvasāmānyaḥ kimatra tava phalguna ,
vīryaśreṣṭhāśca rājanyā balaṁ dharmo'nuvartate.
19. karṇaḥ uvāca raṅgaḥ ayam sarvasāmānyaḥ kim atra tava
phālguna vīryaśreṣṭhāḥ ca rājanyāḥ balam dharmaḥ anuvartate
19. Karṇa said, "This arena is common to all; what is your concern here, Arjuna (Phālguna)? Kṣatriyas are superior in valor, and power (bala) is indeed aligned with natural law (dharma)."
