चिन्मयत्वाद्यदा चेत्यमेति द्रष्टृचितैकताम् ।
तदा दृश्याङ्गयैवैतच्चेत्यते नान्यथा चिता ॥ ७ ॥

When, by its very nature as consciousness (cinmayatvāt), the cognizable object (cetyam) attains oneness with the consciousness (cit) of the perceiver (draṣṭṛ), then it is cognized solely through its aspect as the perceived, and not otherwise by consciousness (citā).
