योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-38, verse-3

ज्ञानरूपतयाबाह्यं बाह्यं चानुभवात्तथा ।
सत्यरूपमतः सत्यां विद्धि बाह्यार्थरूपताम् ॥ ३ ॥
jñānarūpatayābāhyaṃ bāhyaṃ cānubhavāttathā ,
satyarūpamataḥ satyāṃ viddhi bāhyārtharūpatām 3
3. jñānarūpatayā abāhyam bāhyam ca anubhavāt tathā
satyarūpam ataḥ satyām viddhi bāhyārtharūpatām
3. jñānarūpatayā abāhyam ca anubhavāt tathā bāhyam
satyarūpam ataḥ bāhyārtharūpatām satyām viddhi
3. Because it is non-external by its nature as knowledge, and also external through experience, and because its inherent nature is truth; therefore, understand the perceived reality of external objects to be true.
