Owing to consciousness (cittva), the Brahman (brahman) that is like space (kham) manifests as the essence of the world (jagataḥ), resembling the accidental occurrence of a crow and a palm fruit. How can that (Brahman's manifestation as the world) be separated from that (Brahman), given that it is like a city created in a dream or by mere mental construction?
