योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-129, verse-10

क्षिप्रेण शान्ता भवति विज्ञानालोक आगते ।
अमूलमेव गलति तिमिरश्रीरिवोदये ॥ १० ॥
kṣipreṇa śāntā bhavati vijñānāloka āgate ,
amūlameva galati timiraśrīrivodaye 10

amūlam eva galati timiraśrīḥ iva udaye
10. (sā avidyā) kṣipreṇa śāntā bhavati,

10. Spiritual ignorance (avidyā) quickly ceases when the light of profound knowledge (vijñāna) arises. It dissolves without any root, just as the very essence of darkness vanishes at sunrise.
