At the beginning of creation, apart from that (Brahman), no other entity (artha) exists, not even in the state of a great dissolution (mahāpralaya). Due to [Brahman's] causeless nature (akāraṇatva), nothing else exists at all. Therefore, this entire [universe] is Brahman (brahman) alone, pervaded by it.
