ayam dehaḥ manaḥ-ṣaṣṭha-indriya-grāmaḥ avatiṣṭhate,
[yadā] cittvasya kalanāntasya saṃprayātasya jīvatām [bhavati]

This body, consisting of the group of six senses with the mind as the sixth, remains, after the individual consciousness (cittva), whose manifestation has ended, has completely departed to enter a new state of being alive (jīvatā).
