योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-6, chapter-50, verse-25

एवंरूपश्च सुमते जीवो यातः शरीरताम् ।
नेत्रादिना घटाद्यन्तर्यथा वेत्ति तथा श्रृणु ॥ २५ ॥
evaṃrūpaśca sumate jīvo yātaḥ śarīratām ,
netrādinā ghaṭādyantaryathā vetti tathā śrṛṇu 25
25. evam-rūpaḥ ca sumate jīvaḥ yātaḥ śarīratām
netra-ādinā ghaṭa-ādi antar yathā vetti tathā śṛṇu

25. And, O good-minded one, listen now to how the individual soul (jīva), having attained embodiment, perceives the inside of a pot and other objects, just as one perceives them with the eyes and other senses.
