योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-44, verse-6

किमप्यभिमतं कार्यं विनिधाय स्वचेतसि ।
बन्धुवृन्दाद्विनिष्क्रम्य तपस्तप्तुं वनं ययौ ॥ ६ ॥
kimapyabhimataṃ kāryaṃ vinidhāya svacetasi ,
bandhuvṛndādviniṣkramya tapastaptuṃ vanaṃ yayau 6
6. kim api abhimatam kāryam vinidhāya svacetasi
bandhuvṛndāt viniṣkramya tapaḥ taptum vanam yayau
6. saḥ svacetasi kim api abhimatam kāryam vinidhāya
bandhuvṛndāt viniṣkramya tapaḥ taptum vanam yayau
6. Having resolved upon some desired objective in his own mind, he departed from his family (bandhuvṛnda) and went to the forest to undertake severe austerities (tapas).
