श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।

8. Śrī Vasiṣṭha said: Rāma, listen as I narrate the Dāśūra story (ākhyāyikā), which serves to illustrate the illusory nature (māyā-svarūpa) of the world (jagat).
