योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-4, chapter-48, verse-40

भगवन् भूतपूर्णाया भुवः पावनमण्डलम् ।
नाप्नोमि तेन वृक्षाणामुपरि स्थितिरस्तु मे ॥ ४० ॥
bhagavan bhūtapūrṇāyā bhuvaḥ pāvanamaṇḍalam ,
nāpnomi tena vṛkṣāṇāmupari sthitirastu me 40
40. bhagavan bhūtapūrṇāyāḥ bhuvaḥ pāvanamaṇḍalam
na āpnomi tena vṛkṣāṇām upari sthitiḥ astu me
40. bhagavan,
bhūtapūrṇāyāḥ bhuvaḥ pāvanamaṇḍalam na āpnomi.
tena me sthitiḥ vṛkṣāṇām upari astu.
40. O Lord, I cannot find a pure region on this earth, which is filled with beings. Therefore, let my dwelling be above the trees.
