योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-85, verse-37

श्रीभानुरुवाच ।
अस्य दृश्यप्रपञ्चस्य नित्यं कारणतामसि ।
गतः कस्मान्न जानीषे किं मामीश्वर पृच्छसि ॥ ३७ ॥
śrībhānuruvāca ,
asya dṛśyaprapañcasya nityaṃ kāraṇatāmasi ,
gataḥ kasmānna jānīṣe kiṃ māmīśvara pṛcchasi 37
37. śrībhānuḥ uvāca asya dṛśyaprapañcasya nityam kāraṇatām
asi gataḥ kasmāt na jānīṣe kim mām īśvara pṛcchasi
37. śrībhānuḥ uvāca he īśvara,
asya dṛśyaprapañcasya nityam kāraṇatām gataḥ asi kasmāt na jānīṣe? kim mām pṛcchasi?
37. Śrī Bhānu said: 'You are eternally the cause of this visible manifestation of the universe; why then do you not know this? Why do you ask me, O Lord (īśvara)?'
