योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-85, verse-14

दिवि क्रीडन्ति विबुधा भुवि क्रीडन्ति मानवाः ।
दानवा भोगिनश्चैव पातालेषु च संस्थिताः ॥ १४ ॥
divi krīḍanti vibudhā bhuvi krīḍanti mānavāḥ ,
dānavā bhoginaścaiva pātāleṣu ca saṃsthitāḥ 14

dānavāḥ bhoginaḥ ca eva pātāleṣu ca saṃsthitāḥ
14. vibudhāḥ divi krīḍanti; mānavāḥ bhuvi krīḍanti;

14. The gods play in heaven, humans play on earth; and the demons and serpents (bhoginaḥ) are situated in the lower worlds (pātāla).
