योगवासिष्ठः yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-85, verse-2

पुरा मया हि भगवान्पृष्टः कमलसंभवः ।
इमे कथमुपायान्ति ब्रह्मन्सर्गगणा इति ॥ २ ॥

2. Indeed, long ago, I questioned the revered, lotus-born (Brahma): "O Brahma, how do these numerous cycles of creation (sarga) arise?"
