योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-2, chapter-9, verse-6

भावी त्ववश्यमेवार्थः पुरुऽषार्थैकसाधनः ।
यः सोऽस्मिँल्लोकसंघाते दैवशब्देन कथ्यते ॥ ६ ॥
bhāvī tvavaśyamevārthaḥ puru'ṣārthaikasādhanaḥ ,
yaḥ so'smiṃllokasaṃghāte daivaśabdena kathyate 6
6. bhāvī tu avaśyam eva arthaḥ puruṣārthaikasādhanaḥ
yaḥ saḥ asmin lokasaṃghāte daivaśabdena kathyate
6. tu yaḥ bhāvī avaśyam eva puruṣārthaikasādhanaḥ
arthaḥ saḥ asmin lokasaṃghāte daivaśabdena kathyate
6. Indeed, that future outcome which is absolutely certain, and which is the sole means for achieving human objectives (puruṣārtha) in this collective world, is referred to by the term 'destiny'.
