इयमक्षौहिणी पूर्णा यस्याः पतिरहं प्रभो ।
तया परिवृतो युद्धं दास्यामि पिशिताशिनाम् ॥ ३ ॥

O Lord! This full akṣauhiṇī (army division) is mine; I am its master. Accompanied by this army, I will wage war against the flesh-eaters (rākṣasas).
