योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-1, chapter-8, verse-14

अपि बालाङ्गनासङ्गादपि साधो सुधारसात् ।
राज्यादपि सुखायैव पुत्रस्नेहो महामते ॥ १४ ॥

rājyādapi sukhāyaiva putrasneho mahāmate 14
14. api bālāṅganāsaṅgāt api sādho sudhārasāt
rājyāt api sukhāya eva putrasnehaḥ mahāmate
14. O great-minded one, the affection for a son (putrasneha) is truly for happiness, even beyond the association with young women, even beyond the enjoyment of nectar, and even beyond a kingdom.
