योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-1, chapter-8, verse-10

अद्य त्वतितरां ब्रह्मन्मम भाग्यविपर्ययात् ।
हिमेनेव हि पद्माभः संपन्नो हरिणः कृशः ॥ १० ॥
adya tvatitarāṃ brahmanmama bhāgyaviparyayāt ,
himeneva hi padmābhaḥ saṃpanno hariṇaḥ kṛśaḥ 10
10. adya tu atitarām brahman mama bhāgyaviparyayāt
himena iva hi padmābhaḥ sampannaḥ hariṇaḥ kṛśaḥ
10. But today, O Brahmin, due to my exceedingly adverse fortune, the fawn, lotus-like, has indeed become emaciated, as if by frost.
