योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-1, chapter-8, verse-17

राक्षसाः क्रूरकर्माणः कूटयुद्धविशारदाः ।
रामस्तान्योधयत्वित्थं युक्तिरेवातिदुःसहा ॥ १७ ॥

17. rākṣasāḥ krūrakarmāṇaḥ kūṭayuddhaviśāradāḥ
rāmaḥ tān yodhayatu ittham yuktiḥ eva atiduḥsahā
17. The rākṣasas (demons) are cruel in their actions and skilled in deceptive warfare. For Rama to fight them in this way – this strategy is truly unbearable.
