विज्ञातं ते मया दूत वाक्यं यत्त्वं प्रभाषसे ।
नैव त्वमसि नैवासौ भ्रात्रा येनासि प्रेषितः ॥३४॥

34. vijñātaṃ te mayā dūta vākyaṃ yattvaṃ prabhāṣase ,
naiva tvamasi naivāsau bhrātrā yenāsi preṣitaḥ.

34. "O messenger, I have understood the words that you speak. You are certainly not (the messenger I acknowledge), nor is that person (Rāma) the brother by whom you were sent (in a legitimate capacity)."
