वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-13, verse-20

निराकृतश्च बहुशस्त्वयाहं राक्षसाधिप ।
अपराद्धा हि बाल्याच्च रक्षणीयाः स्वबान्धवाः ॥२०॥
20. nirākṛtaśca bahuśastvayāhaṃ rākṣasādhipa ,
aparāddhā hi bālyācca rakṣaṇīyāḥ svabāndhavāḥ.
20. nirākṛtaḥ ca bahuśaḥ tvayā aham rākṣasādhipa
aparāddhāḥ hi bālyāt ca rakṣaṇīyāḥ svabāndhavāḥ
20. rākṣasādhipa tvayā aham bahuśaḥ ca nirākṛtaḥ hi

20. O lord of rākṣasas, I have been repeatedly rejected by you. Indeed, one's own relatives should be protected, even if they have committed offenses due to immaturity.
