वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-18, verse-40

प्रसादयन्नरवृषभः स मातरं पराक्रमाज्जिगमिषुरेव दण्डकान् ।
अथानुजं भृशमनुशास्य दर्शनं चकार तां हृदि जननीं प्रदक्षिणम् ॥४०॥
40. prasādayannaravṛṣabhaḥ sa mātaraṃ parākramājjigamiṣureva daṇḍakān ,
athānujaṃ bhṛśamanuśāsya darśanaṃ cakāra tāṃ hṛdi jananīṃ pradakṣiṇam.
40. prasādayan naravṛṣabhaḥ saḥ mātaram
parākramāt jigamiṣuḥ eva daṇḍakān
atha anujam bhṛśam anuśāsya darśanam
cakāra tām hṛdi jananīm pradakṣiṇam

40. He, the foremost among men, while appeasing his mother and being resolute in his desire to go to the Daṇḍaka forest with courage, then, after thoroughly instructing his younger brother, mentally circumambulated his mother (as a mark of respect) in his heart.
