वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-18, verse-10

निर्मनुष्यामिमां सर्वामयोध्यां मनुजर्षभ ।
करिष्यामि शरैस्तीक्ष्णैर्यदि स्थास्यति विप्रिये ॥१०॥
10. nirmanuṣyāmimāṃ sarvāmayodhyāṃ manujarṣabha ,
kariṣyāmi śaraistīkṣṇairyadi sthāsyati vipriye.
10. nirmanuṣyām imām sarvām ayodhyām manujarṣabha
kariṣyāmi śaraiḥ tīkṣṇaiḥ yadi sthāsyati vipriye
10. manujarṣabha,
yadi vipriye sthāsyati,
imām sarvām ayodhyām tīkṣṇaiḥ śaraiḥ nirmanuṣyām kariṣyāmi.
10. O best among men, I will render this entire Ayodhya devoid of people (nirmanuṣyam) with my sharp arrows, if it persists in this adverse situation.
