शापितासि मम प्राणैः कुरु स्वस्त्ययनानि मे ।
तीर्णप्रतिज्ञश्च वनात् पुनरेष्याम्यहं पुरीम् ॥३८॥

38.
O Goddess, permit me, who is departing from here for the forest. I enjoin you by my life (prāṇa) to perform auspicious rites for me. And having fulfilled my vow, I shall return from the forest to the city.
