कर्य कर्तुं मनुष्यानां न समर्था भवन्ति हि ।
तथाऽत्मकारके क्रूरे नाऽन्ये स्वशुभदायकः ॥११॥

11. karya kartuṃ manuṣyānāṃ na samarthā bhavanti hi .
tathā'tmakārake krūre nā'nye svaśubhadāyakaḥ.

11. kāryam kartum manuṣyāṇām na samarthāḥ bhavanti hi
tathā ātmakārake krūre na anye sva śubha dāyakaḥ

11. [...] all ministers and other [officials] are indeed not able to perform their duties for human beings. Similarly, when the self-significator (ātmakāraka) is malefic, other [planets] do not bestow their own auspicious results.
