बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-32, verse-6

अंशक्रमादधोऽधःस्थाश्चराख्याः कारका इति ।
आत्माख्यकारकस्तेषु प्रधानं कथ्यते द्विज ॥६॥
6. aṃśakramādadho'dhaḥsthāścarākhyāḥ kārakā iti .
ātmākhyakārakasteṣu pradhānaṃ kathyate dvija.

6. Thus, the planets positioned successively lower according to their degrees are called the moveable significators (`chara kāraka`). Among these, O Brahmin (dvija), the significator named `ātman` (ātmakāraka) is declared to be the chief.
