सप्तमे च स्थिते नाथे विज्ञेयं दशमं पदम् ॥५॥

For instance, when the lord (nātha) is situated in the fourth house (turya) from itself, the fourth house itself becomes the pada. And, when the lord (nātha) is situated in the seventh house (saptame) from itself, the tenth house (daśamaṃ) should be understood as the pada.
