Thus, if the Dāra pada (A7) is situated in a quadrant (kendra) or a trine (koṇa) from the Ārūḍha (lagna) (A1), there will certainly be friendship between the native and their spouse. Conversely, if they (A1 and A7) are in trika (malefic) houses (6th, 8th, or 12th) from each other, there is no doubt of enmity.
