स्वायम्भुवो मनुः पूर्वं मनुः स्वारोचिषस्तथा ॥६॥

And also, there are fifty-two other additional thousands (of years). Svāyambhuva Manu was the first Manu, and similarly, Svārociṣa (was the second) Manu.
