भतस्याप्यभूत् पुत्रः सुमतिर्नाम धार्मिकः ॥४१॥

41. tasmāt tu bhārataṃ varṣaṃ tasya nānmā mahātmanaḥ .

Therefore, this land (varṣam) is known as Bhārata, named after that great-souled (mahātmanaḥ) one. A virtuous (dhārmika) son named Sumati was also born to Bharata.
