मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-48, verse-34

एकविशमथर्वाणमाप्तोर्यामाणमेव च ।
अनुष्टुभं सवैराजमुत्तरादसृजन्मुखात् ॥३४॥
34. ekaviśamatharvāṇamāptoryāmāṇameva ca .
anuṣṭubhaṃ savairājamuttarādasṛjanmukhāt.
34. ekaviṃśam atharvāṇam āptoryāmāṇam eva ca
anuṣṭubham savairājam uttarāt asṛjat mukhāt
34. From his northern mouth, he created the Ekaviṃśa (stoma), the Atharvaṇa (Veda), the Āptoryāma (sacrifice), and similarly, the Anuṣṭubh meter along with the Vairāja (sāman).
