मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-48, verse-19

तदन्धकारे क्षुत्क्षामानसृजद् भगवानजः ।
विरूपान् श्मश्रुलानत्तुमारब्धास्ते च तां तनुम् ॥१९॥
19. tadandhakāre kṣutkṣāmānasṛjad bhagavānajaḥ .
virūpān śmaśrulānattumārabdhāste ca tāṃ tanum.
19. tat andhakāre kṣutkṣāmān asṛjat bhagavān ajaḥ
virūpān śmaśrulān attum ārabdhāḥ te ca tām tanum
19. In that darkness, the unborn Lord (Bhagavān) created emaciated, hungry, deformed, and bearded beings. And they began to eat that very body.
