मार्कण्डेय उवाच ।
कुशलाकुशलैर्ब्रह्मन् भाविता पूर्वकमर्मभिः ।
ख्याता तथा ह्यनिर्मुक्ताः प्रलये ह्यु पसंहृताः ॥२॥
कुशलाकुशलैर्ब्रह्मन् भाविता पूर्वकमर्मभिः ।

2. mārkaṇḍeya uvāca .
kuśalākuśalairbrahman bhāvitā pūrvakamarmabhiḥ .
khyātā tathā hyanirmuktāḥ pralaye hyu pasaṃhṛtāḥ.
kuśalākuśalairbrahman bhāvitā pūrvakamarmabhiḥ .
khyātā tathā hyanirmuktāḥ pralaye hyu pasaṃhṛtāḥ.

mārkaṇḍeyaḥ uvāca kuśala akuśalaiḥ brahman bhāvitāḥ pūrvaka
karmabhiḥ khyātāḥ tathā hi anirmuktāḥ pralaye hi upasaṃhṛtāḥ
karmabhiḥ khyātāḥ tathā hi anirmuktāḥ pralaye hi upasaṃhṛtāḥ
2.
Mārkaṇḍeya said: "O Brahmin (brahman), those who are influenced by their past good and bad actions (karma), who are thus not yet liberated (anirmuktāḥ), are indeed reabsorbed into the universal dissolution (pralaya)."
