सृष्ट्वा पितॄनुत्ससर्ज तनुं तामपि स प्रभुः ।
सा चोत्सृष्टाभवत् सन्ध्या दिवननक्तान्तरस्थिता ॥१०॥

10. sṛṣṭvā pitṝnutsasarja tanuṃ tāmapi sa prabhuḥ .

Having created the ancestors (Pitṛs), that lord (prabhu) then cast off that body as well. And that body, thus abandoned, became the twilight (sandhyā), which exists between day and night.
