सामानि जगतीच्छन्दः स्तोमं पञ्चदशन्तथा ।
वैरूपमतिरात्रञ्च निर्ममे पश्चिमान्मुखात् ॥३३॥

From his western mouth, he created the Sāmāni (Vedic chants), the Jagatī meter, the Pañcadaśa stoma, and similarly, the Vairūpa (sāman) and the Atirātra (sacrifice).
