मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-133, verse-36

वपुष्मतश्च मांसेन पिण्डदानं चकार ह ।
ब्राह्मणान्भोजयामास रक्षः कुलसमुद्भवान् ॥३६॥
36. vapuṣmataśca māṃsena piṇḍadānaṃ cakāra ha .
brāhmaṇānbhojayāmāsa rakṣaḥ kulasamudbhavān.

36. Indeed, he performed the offering of funeral cakes (piṇḍadāna) using the flesh of an embodied being. He also fed Brahmins who were born from the lineage of the Rakshasas.
