आहूतसमरे चैव पुमान्सेनाविकत्थनः ।
ततो युद्धमतीवासीद्दमस्य च वपुष्मतः ॥१८॥

18. āhūtasamare caiva pumānsenāvikatthanaḥ .

And indeed, when a boastful warrior was challenged to battle, a very great fight took place between Dama and the valiant one.
