मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-131, verse-31

जम्भस्यासुरराजस्य पिता दष्टो भुजङ्गमैः ।
तेनाप्यखिलपातालवासिनः पन्नगाः हताः ॥३१॥
31. jambhasyāsurarājasya pitā daṣṭo bhujaṅgamaiḥ .
tenāpyakhilapātālavāsinaḥ pannagāḥ hatāḥ.
31. jambhasya asurarājasya pitā daṣṭaḥ bhujaṅgamaiḥ
tena api akhilapātālavāsinaḥ pannagāḥ hatāḥ
31. Jambha, the king of the asuras, had his father bitten by serpents. Consequently, by him, all the serpents dwelling in Pātāla were killed.
